The University of Minho in Portugal (Unsidade Do Minho), founded in 1973, is a comprehensive university with more than ten departments, including architecture, engineering, natural sciences, medicine, economic management, sociology, humanities and literature, psychology and pedagogy, preschool teachers, and basic education, among which Chinese teaching is managed by the Institutes of Arts and Humanities.
